Here are some stylized assets I just created for our VR game in the works. The first image is my original concept art. I may change the mug back to glass, but I wanted to experiment with a pewter looking mug for a better contrast and overall detailing. These items together are about 15k tris in a 4096 texture sheet for VR interaction. I created a couple of color hue/ saturation versions to test. I used smart materials, Substance Designer, Photoshop, Maya, and 3D Coat.
